ADHD

(Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder)

Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, also known as ADHD, is a neurodevelopmental disorder, influenced by 3 factors, genetic, neurological and environmental.

Thus, it is not a disciplinary or behaviour issue, but a brain disorder. It impacts the production and/or uptake/or re-uptake of Serotonin, Dopamine & Noradrenaline (neurotransmitters).

Commonly diagnosed in children, ADHD is also being diagnosed in adolescence & adulthood.

Sustaining attention and being distracted, overlooking details and making  careless mistakes, and difficulties with regulating emotions are common challenges in daily life.
